Tawana Couch
Tawana
Couch resides in Dallas, Texas with seven dogs and two
cats. Her companion animals are her love. Tawana earned
a B. S. Degree in Education from North Texas University.
She currently does real estate investments and is a
flight attendant for Southwest Airlines. Tawana has
traveled all over the world.
Tawana has done extensive research in the field of
alternative health. She has done countless projects
and deeds helping homeless animals. Her determination
to find out what's best for people and animals has led
her to the place she is at today. Tawana feels she is
blessed with knowledge that can help heal sickness.
"I would not even trade places with Bill Gates
and all his money for the knowledge that I have learned.
You are only as rich as your health, without being healthy
you're not living your full potential"
Tawana has rescued hundreds of animals and rehabilitated
them and found them homes (see
The Dallas Morning News article about Tawana).
She loves animals and has worked endlessly to help them.
She served on the City of Dallas Animal Shelter Advisory
Board for eight years. During this time, she spearheaded
efforts to get the city to build a 57,000 sq. ft. animal
shelter. She also is currently producing film documentaries
on helping dogs and cats. Tawana hopes to educate the
public about dogs and cats and their behavior and needs.
Tawana has been studying all kinds of healing methods
for over twenty years (see
Tawana's Health Journey). Through extensive
research and trial and error, she feels she has found
what works best for people and animals regarding healing.
She has tried many different alternative-healing modalities.
Some worked fairly well but she was never content until
now. This is what has motivated her to do this information
Web site to help others.
"There is so much stuff out there on alternative
healing that people get confused. When you want an answer
where do you turn."
Tawana finally learned that by using common sense you
let your immune system work for you.
Collecting rare books and reading is her favorite past
time. She won two blue ribbons at the State Fair of
Texas for her rare book collection. She enjoys reading
books on health, especially the original books on Natural
Hygiene that were written in the 1800's. The history
of medicine fascinates her and through this she has
gained insight on healing. Realizing that most people
have a hectic lifestyle and don't have time to read
the huge amount of literature available, Tawana hopes
that her recommended books and tapes helps people locate
the information that can help them with their healing
needs. Tawana considers herself a health research consultant.
She has done extensive research into health and shares
this information with others.
Through helping animals and people she hopes that the
world is a much more peaceful, compassionate place.
"Suffering is something no human or animals should
ever have to experience. We must love ourselves and
take care of ourselves. Happiness and good health is
there for all of us if we strive for it. May you be
blessed with vibrant, abundant health!"
